The Seoul International Drama Awards final nominations have been revealed, and fans have already started voting for their favourites.
The competition is tense, especially as it is in the hands of the fans, and the SDAs are a widely regarded awards ceremony, which everyone wants to see their favourites succeed at.

What are the Seoul International Drama Awards?
Seoul International Drama Awards is a festival that brings together all professionals in the field of TV drama production and global audiences.
It is organised by the Seoul Drama Awards Organizing Committee, and Korean Broadcasters Association. According to their website, the awards strive to achieve the “continuous development of the Korean Wave,” the “promotion of healthy participation in festivals” and the “vitalization of tourism in Seoul.”
The nominations were revealed on August 5th, in a Twitter thread posted by the official SDA page. The tweet read:
“Despite COVID-19 pandemic, 225 dramas from 39 countries(regions) participated in SDA 2022, and nominees for the international competition has been decided. We are revealing the Nominees which were selected through a fierce competition in preliminary!”
How to vote for the Seoul International Drama Awards
The categories you can vote for include: Outstanding Asian Stars from South Korea, China, Japan, Thailand, Philippines, Taiwan, and Outstanding Performance of Korean Drama of the Year (Actor, Actress, and OST singer).
The OST award goes to a singer who sang on a soundtrack of a Korean Drama. BTS’ V is amongst the nominees for Best OST, for his song Christmas Tree.
Fans can vote for their favourites via Idol Champ, a voting app by MBC Plus Inc. and Neowiz Inc. Voting will close on August 31st.
When will the winners be revealed?
The winners will be announced at the award ceremony, which will be broadcast live on both KBS 2TV & SDA Official Youtube channel from 17:00-19:00 on Thursday 22nd September (KST).
