Harvey Barnes has shared that he has been studying Liverpool and Tottenham Hotspur duo, Mo Salah and Son Heung-min, as the Leicester City winger told Sky Sports.
The 24-year-old shared that he wants to add goals to his name ahead of the new Premier League season and he has looked at Liverpool and Tottenham’s star duo and how they ‘make runs in-behind’.
Last season, from his 32 Premier League games, Barnes netted on six occasions for the Foxes, including supplying ten assists to his teammates.

In comparison, in the colours of Liverpool and Spurs, both Salah and Son won the Golden Boot award for the 2021/22 campaign by scoring an impressive 23 goals.
As an opposition defender, if you are flat-footed and either Salah or Son are at full speed behind you, then you are in trouble, as Barnes praised the duo.
“I look at it and think ‘how many times can I get in-behind more’? said Barnes. “Making runs in-behind, I think if you look last year, with Salah and Son, the amount of goals they scored.
“I think they are two of the best in the league in running in-behind and getting them balls in dangerous positions, so for me, taking bits out of their games.
“Why are they scoring so many goals? What are they doing? And adding that to my game.”

WHO WILL WIN THE 2022/23 PREMIER LEAGUE’S GOLDEN BOOT?
The same old names will be hunting for that individual award from Salah to Son’s partner in crime at Tottenham, Harry Kane.
But two new faces have joined the Premier League and they will want to have their own say – Liverpool’s new boy, Darwin Nunez and Manchester City’s latest superstar addition, Erling Haaland.
You wouldn’t want to bet against Salah or Kane given the number of times they have picked up that award, so they should surely be in touching distance between one another when the crunch moments of the season arrive.
But could a surprise emerge from elsewhere? With the 2022 World Cup around the corner, many players will be even more eager to prove themselves, someone like Newcastle United’s Callum Wilson is one of those players.
Then there is someone like Arsenal’s summer capture of Gabriel Jesus, whose best season tally is scoring 14 Premier League goals in the colours of Manchester City.
