Mateusz Klich could leave Leeds United with a return to former club Utrecht now believed to be on the cards.
Leeds have revamped their midfield this summer, headlined by Kalvin Phillips leaving the club for Manchester City.
Marc Roca and Tyler Adams have come in to replace Phillips, as has Manchester City teenager Darko Gyabi.
Leeds may now be happy with their midfield options, but it comes at the expense of Mateusz Klich, whose role under Jesse Marsch has been diminished.
Mateusz Klich could leave Leeds United
Klich was only on the bench when Leeds faced Cagliari in their final pre-season friendly on Sunday.
After the final whistle at Elland Road, Marsch told the Yorkshire Evening Post that he wasn’t sure what the future held for Klich at Elland Road.
It now seems that Klich will be leaving Leeds in the very near future, at least according to reports in his homeland of Poland.
Meczyki report that Klich is ‘determined’ to change club this summer because he wants to play regularly.
Poland will be playing at the World Cup later this summer and Klich doesn’t want to risk missing out on the trip to Qatar.
Klich’s agents are allegedly working on a loan move to the Netherlands and, more specifically, Utrecht.

Klich joined Utrecht on loan for the second half of the 2017-18 campaign, turning out 12 times for the Eredivisie side before heading back to Leeds.
The midfielder became a Leeds first-team star under Marcelo Bielsa after that loan spell and has now racked up nearly 180 appearances for the Whites.
The 32-year-old may not reach 200 though with Utrecht considered to be a potential destination, even if only on loan for now.
A move to Utrecht would be another case of the knock-on effect in the transfer market.
Leeds paid big money to sign Luis Sinisterra from Feyenoord, who reinvested some of that cash in signing Utrecht midfielder Quinten Timber.
Timber’s exit leaves a hole in the Utrecht midfield and Klich could now return to the club with his Leeds first-team prospects seemingly bleak.
