Fanatik claim that Galatasaray will return to the negotiating table with Tottenham this week over a move for outcast Tanguy Ndombele, after an initial loan-to-buy bid was rejected by Spurs earlier on in the summer window.

The 25-year-old has been frozen out by Antonio Conte at Tottenham. A loan spell back at Lyon during the second half of last season failed to see the France international reignite any form – despite making 15 appearances.

He was left at home from the pre-season tour of South Korea, along with Sergio Reguilon, Harry Winks and Gio Lo Celso. But none of the four have yet left Spurs. However, that could be about to change this week.

That is because Galatasaray are looking to stage a meeting with Spurs this week over a move for Ndombele. Gala saw a loan offer rejected earlier this summer, but suitors are beginning to withdraw from the running.

It has given Gala some confidence that they might find themselves in a stronger position to sign Ndombele on loan, initially. It all depends on the portion of Ndombele’s wages they are able to pay – and a permanent clause included.

Galatasaray to return with move for Tottenham outcast Ndombele

Tottenham desperately need to offload Ndombele. They need his big wages off the club’s list of expenditures, and Ndombele needs to go to save his career. Turkey, on loan, might be the ideal landing spot for him.

While it is a considerable drop off in quality domestically, Galatasaray are a big club. They did finish in 13th last season but they have the size and fanbase to attract Ndombele – at least for a season.

At his best, Ndombele is good enough to play for most clubs but right now, he needs a kick start. Even without European football, Galatasaray might be the only option he has in the coming weeks.
