Mikel Arteta’s Arsenal have an agreement in place with Leicester City midfielder Youri Tielemans over personal terms, CBS Sports journalist Ben Jacobs has told GiveMeSport.
The well-known and well-respected journalist has claimed that Arsenal have agreed personal terms with Tielemans, described as “an incredible talent” by former Tottenham Hotspur defender Michael Dawson on Sky Sports News (12:59pm, October 23, 2021).
Jacobs has added that Arsenal have yet to make an offer for the Belgium international midfielder.
The journalist has further claimed that Arsenal are aware that Tielemans wants to move to the Emirates Stadium.
Arsenal have agreed personal terms with Youri Tielemans
Jacobs told GiveMeSport: “As Leicester have said and as I’ve said repeatedly, Arsenal have never made an offer for Youri Tielemans.
“What they have done is gone to the player and agreed personal terms, broadly speaking. What they do know is that Tielemans would like to move to Arsenal.”

Time to bid
In our view, if Arsenal are really keen on signing Youri Tielemans this summer, then they need to present an offer to Leicester City.
Now.
There is no point in delaying.
The new season is going to start soon, and it is important that Tielemans quickly gets to grips with Mikel Artetas style.
We have known for a while that Arsenal want to sign the Belgian, and we think that if the North London club really want him, then they should get a deal done now.
Tielemans is only 25 now, and under Arteta, he could develop and become an ever better player.
