Eddie Howe’s Newcastle United are interested in signing Julian Draxler from Paris Saint-Germain in the summer transfer window, according to Le10Sport.
The French news outlet has claimed that Newcastle have made contact with PSG over signing Draxler.
The Ligue 1 champions have told the Magpies that they want between €20 million (£17.02 million) and €30 million (£25.52 million) in transfer fees for the Germany international, who can operate as a winger or as an attacking midfielder.
Le10Sport have added that Newcastle have made contact with the representatives of Draxler as well and have presented them their project.

PSG’s Julian Draxler would be great for Newcastle United
In our view, Paris Saint-Germain star Julian Draxler would be a brilliant signing for Newcastle United in the summer transfer window.
Now, you could argue that the 28-year-old has not been a massive success at PSG.
Yes, Draxler has won the Ligue 1 title four times, but he is not considered among the best players in the world at the moment.
However, that the 2014 World Cup winner is still at PSG shows his quality and calibre.
And that PSG signed him in the first place shows what they think of him.
Moreover, PSG are asking for only £25.5 million for the attacking player.
For that price, it would be worth signing Draxler, who is still only 28.
The PSG star made five starts and 13 substitute appearances in Ligue 1 last season.
Draxler scored two goals and gave one assist in those matches.
