Speaking to GiveMeSport, journalist Dean Jones has been talking up a potential move to West Ham United for Adnan Januzaj.

The Hammers have just missed out on Jesse Lingard after the former Manchester United man joined Nottingham Forest, but now, the London club are in the market for an alternative.

According to Jones, a deal to sign Januzaj this summer is all-but set up and West Ham could secure his signature quickly if they decide to greenlight this signing.

What’s been said?

Jones stated that West Ham could now sign Januzaj.

“Now that Lingard has not arrived there might be more chance of the Januzaj arrival.

“He’s got options but he has definitely been keen on playing for Moyes, and the deal is pretty much set up and can move fast if they want to go for it.”

Unfinished business

Signing Januzaj this summer could be a very smart move from West Ham.

The Belgian has some unfinished business in the Premier League after an underwhelming end to his time at Manchester United, and a reunion with David Moyes could help him rediscover his best form.

Indeed, Januzaj became a star at Old Trafford under Moyes, and it’s clear that the Scot knows how to get the best out of the former wonderkid.

West Ham may have missed out on one Manchester United outcast in the shape of Lingard, but now they could get another in Januzaj.
