Thomas Tuchel’s Chelsea and Antonio Conte’s Tottenham Hotspur have been linked with Marc Cucurella, but it has now emerged that the left-back has ever only wanted to join Pep Guardiola’s Manchester City.
Manchester City more attractive to Marc Cucurella than Chelsea or Tottenham Hotspur
The Sun reported earlier this summer that Tottenham, Chelsea and Manchester City all are interested in signing Cucurella from Brighton and Hove Albion in the summer transfer window.
It was also The Sun who reiterated interest in the 23-year-old from Chelsea and Premier League champions Manchester City last month.
And now Fabrizio Romano has reported on Twitter that Cucurella has always wanted to move to Manchester City.
The well-known and well-respected journalist has claimed that the left-back “only wants” City.

The Brighton star reportedly told his club “weeks ago” that if City made a good offer, then he would join them.
The Daily Mail have reported that City will make an improved offer for the left-back after their initial bid of £30 million was turned down.
More attractive
In our view, Marc Cucurella wanting to join Manchester City despite interest from Chelsea and Tottenham Hotspur underlines just how massive the Citizens now are.
City have become one of the strongest forces in England, and them being more attractive than the likes of Chelsea and Tottenham shows how much they have come over the past 10 or 12 years.
