West Ham United want Adnan Januzaj but face a battle with Everton as he prepares to finally make a decision on his next club.
The Hammers were heavily linked with signing Keane Lewis-Potter but he ended up joining London rivals Brentford instead.
David Moyes does still need a winger though, given that Andriy Yarmolenko has gone, Nikola Vlasic struggled last season and Said Benrahma’s future is unclear.
Vlasic and Benrahma may prefer to play centrally but may be needed out wide if West Ham don’t find a new winger.
West Ham United want Adnan Januzaj
One name that has been mentioned and wouldn’t break the bank is that of Adnan Januzaj.
The Belgian wide man is a free agent this summer having left Real Sociedad at the end of his contract.
If there’s one man who has backed Januzaj during his career, it’s West Ham boss Moyes.
The Scot gave Januzaj his big break at Manchester United and even when things started to go wrong for him, Moyes took him to Sunderland.
The Daily Star reported in June that West Ham were keen on signing Januzaj after his Real Sociedad exit, and contact had been made with his representatives.

Spanish newspaper AS now report that West Ham are indeed one of the clubs who have come forward for Januzaj – but so are Premier League rivals Everton.
It’s suggested that Napoli and Sevilla are also keen whilst Januzaj even has an offer to play in Qatar, but he’s not too interested in that.
Januzaj has been training at a high-performance centre in Marbella and it’s stated that he will be making a decision on his next club very soon.
The chance to play for Moyes once again has to be appealing to Januzaj, but Everton will be a major threat given the regular starts they can offer him in Frank Lampard’s side.
