Thomas Tuchel’s Chelsea have made a bid for Jules Kounde, who is wanted by Antonio Conte’s Tottenham Hotspur as well, according to AS.
AS have reported that Chelsea have offered Sevilla €55 million (£46.68 million) in transfer fees for Tottenham target Kounde.
The Mirror reported last week that Tottenham are leading the race for the France international central defender, who is valued at £76 million by his club Sevilla.
Tottenham Hotspur or Chelsea for Jules Kounde?
In our view, Chelsea are more likely than Tottenham Hotspur to sign Jules Kounde from Sevilla in the summer transfer window.

Now, Tottenham may be leading the race for the 23-year-old France international, according to The Mirror, but it is Chelsea who have reportedly made a bid.
The Blues are in more need of signing a centre-back than Tottenham are in the summer transfer window.
After all, Chelsea head coach Thomas Tuchel has lost Antonio Rudiger and Andreas Christensen, although the former Premier League and UEFA Champions League winners have signed Kalidou Koulibaly.
Kounde has been on the books of Sevilla since 2019 and won the UEFA Europa League with the La Liga club in 2019-20.
The 23-year-old centre-back also clinched the UEFA Nations League in 2020-21 with France.
