Celtic want to sign Moritz Jenz and agent Roberto De Fanti is flying to Glasgow – but will then tackle Japhet Tanganga’s Tottenham exit.

The Bhoys are closing in on signing free agent midfielder Aaron Mooy after his departure from Shanghai Port in China.

Mooy has worked with Ange Postecoglou in the Australia national team setup and can now return to Scotland after a prior spell with St Mirren.

Celtic are chasing another deal this week though as Lorient defender Moritz Jenz is also wanted at Parkhead.

Celtic want to sign Moritz Jenz, Tanganga to leave Tottenham?

Agents are always busy at this time of year but Roberto De Fanti will barely have time for rest today.

De Fanti runs the RDF Football agency and he represents some notable names like Fabio Borini and former Fulham goalkeeper Jesse Joronen.

De Fanti also represents Lorient defender Jenz and Tottenham Hotspur talent Japhet Tanganga, with both players potentially on the move.

Sky Italia’s Gianluca Di Marzio reports that De Fanti is flying to Glasgow today to wrap up the deal for Jenz to join Celtic.

After just 16 league starts though, the German defender is available again and Celtic are ready to pounce with a deal.

Jenz will likely join on loan with an option to buy and Celtic will be hoping that talks with De Fanti progress well today.

De Fanti’s busy day doesn’t end there though as he will then allegedly hop on another flight straight to Milan for talks over Tanganga.

Milan want to sign Tanganga from Tottenham and a meeting is scheduled with De Fanti today to try and get a deal moving forward.

Tottenham seem open to letting Tanganga leave either on loan or permanently, with Milan now leading the race.

De Fanti could have two deals lined up by the end of the day, with Celtic chasing a new signing and Tottenham looking to offload a fringe player.

UPDATE: Celtic have now confirmed the signing of Jenz.
