Goal journalist Charles Watts has reported that Oleksandr Zinchenko could undergo a medical at Arsenal imminently in the USA and join up with Mikel Arteta’s squad.

The well-known and well-respected journalist has claimed that Zinchenko’s “medical” at Arsenal is “imminent”.

The Goal reporter has added that Arsenal are hoping that the Ukraine international will be able to play a part for the team in their going US tour.

Earlier this evening, The Athletic reported that Arsenal have agreed personal terms with Zinchenko, who can operate as a left-back or in midfield.

The Gunners have reportedly already agreed a £30 million transfer fee with Premier League champions Manchester City over the transfer of the 25-year-old.

Transfer happening

It seems that it is only a matter of time before Arsenal officially complete the signing of Oleksandr Zinchenko from Manchester City.

Maybe the 25-year-old Ukraine international will become an Arsenal player this week.

Zinchenko is a very good and versatile player who worked with Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta when he was a coach at Manchester City.

The Ukrainian knows how Arteta works, and he could flourish at the Emirates Stadium and get better in the coming years.
