Reported Tottenham Hotspur target and Chelsea-linked Barcelona forward Memphis Depay will listen to offers from ‘powerful’ teams, according to Mundo Deportivo.
Tottenham Hotspur and Chelsea linked with Memphis Depay
Sport reported over the weekend that Tottenham are the team working the hardest to secure the services of former Manchester United forward Depay from Barcelona in the summer transfer window.
The same Spanish publication has claimed that Tottenham are willing to pay €17 million (£14.39 million) in transfer fees for the £82,000-a-week (Goal) star.
‘Powerful teams’
Mundo Deportivo are now reporting that the 28-year-old is open to leaving Barcelona, but the Netherlands international forward will listen to offers from ‘powerful teams’.
Interestingly, Depay has been linked with a move to Thomas Tuchel’s Chelsea as well.

Earlier this month, The Daily Mail reported that Barcelona have offered Depay and Sergino Dest to Chelsea in their effort to sign the Blues’ full-backs Cesar Azpilicueta and Marcos Alonso.
The La Liga club have financial issues, so they are reportedly offering Depay and Dest.
Chelsea are a ‘powerful’ team.
After all, the Blues regularly challenge for the Premier League and the UEFA Champions League.
In fact, Chelsea won the UEFA Champions League in 2021.
Depay is playing for one of the biggest clubs in the world in Barcelona, and he could see a transfer to Chelsea as a sideways move and could be tempted by it.
Tottenham could miss out.
