Jesse Marsch’s Leeds United and Frank Lampard’s Everton are interested in signing Ben Brereton Diaz from Blackburn Rovers in the summer transfer window, according to The Sun.

The Sun have reported that Sevilla are willing to pay £10 million for Brereton Diaz, who is valued at £20 million by his club Blackburn Rovers.

The report has added that Leeds, Everton and Bournemouth ‘have also joined the bidding war’ for the 23-year-old Chile international striker, described as “outstanding” by former Nottingham Forest manager Mark Warburton on the Reds’ official website in April 2017.

Blackburn exit likely?

In our view, with Leeds, Everton, Sevilla and Bournemouth all interested, it is very likely that Ben Brereton Diaz will leave Blackburn Rovers in the summer transfer window.

Leaving Rovers for Leeds, Everton or Sevilla would be a step-up for the Chilean, who has proved himself in the Championship and will surely want to enhance his career.

Brereton Diaz made 34 starts and three substitute appearances in the Championship for Rovers last season.

The striker scored 22 goals and gave three assists in those matches.

Sevilla are a massive club who play regularly in the UEFA Champions League, and they could be more appealing to the Chile international striker than Everton or Leeds.
