Frank Lampard’s Everton could sell Tottenham Hotspur target Anthony Gordon to Eddie Howe’s Newcastle United in the summer transfer window, according to The Sun.
The Sun have reported that Everton could cash in on Gordon and sell him to Newcastle to pay for a couple of signings.
The Toffees are on the hunt for Burnley’s Maxwel Cornet and Morgan Gibbs-White of Wolverhampton Wanderers and need to fund those moves.
The Sun have claimed that although Everton do not want to sell the 21-year-old winger and could offer him a ‘a new lucrative deal’, but Newcastle could pay £40 million in transfer fees and huge wages.
Like Newcastle, Tottenham are also interested in signing Gordon in the summer transfer window.
90min reported on June 27 that during talks with Everton over signing Brazilian forward Richarlison, Tottenham asked about Gordon.

Spurs admire the winger and want him to be part of a player-exchange deal, with Everton interested in Harry Winks, according to the report.
Tottenham or Newcastle for Everton’s Anthony Gordon?
In our view, Newcastle United are more likely that Tottenham Hotspur to sign Anthony Gordon from Everton in the summer transfer window.
We do not think that Tottenham will spend £40 million on a 21-year-old winger this summer, especially as they do not need to.
On the other hand, Newcastle are undergoing a revolution at the club, and their rich owners PIF could see Gordon as a player who would be able to make an impact now as well as grow in the future.
PIF could see Gordon as an investment.
