Oleksandr Zinchenko wants to join Arsenal from Manchester City in the summer transfer window and work under manager Mikel Arteta, according to CBS Sports journalist Ben Jacobs.

The well-known and well-respected journalist has reported that Zinchenko is ‘excited’ at the prospect of linking up with Arteta again, this time at Arsenal.

The Ukraine international, who can operate as a left-back or in midfielder, worked with Arteta when he was a coach at Manchester City.

Oleksandr Zinchenko would make Arsenal better

In our view, Manchester City star Oleksandr Zinchenko would make Arsenal a better and stronger team.

We think that the 25-year-old would be a good signing for the Gunners in the summer transfer window.

Zinchenko can play as a left-back or in midfield, which means that Arsenal would essentially get two players for the price of one.

Kieran Tierney is the number one left-back at Arsenal, but when he is injured, Zinchenko could play in his place.

The Ukrainian has done well in midfield when he has played, and his experience and quality would make Arsenal better and stronger in that particular department.

Moreover, Zinchenko has won the Premier League title four times with Manchester City, and he would be able to bring a winning mentality to the Arsenal dressing room.
