David Moyes’s West Ham United have made a bid for Chelsea striker Armando Broja, who is of interest to Eddie Howe’s Newcastle United and Frank Lampard’s Everton as well, according to The Guardian.

The Guardian have reported that West Ham have made an offer of £25 million plus £5m in potential add-ons for Chelsea striker Broja, who spent last season on loan at Southampton.

Newcastle United, Everton and Napoli also keen on the 20-year-old, according to the report, which has added that the Albania International ‘could ask to leave’ Chelsea this summer ‘if he is told he is not going to be a regular next season’.

Could Newcastle or West Ham sign Chelsea striker Armando Broja?

In our view, Newcastle United and West Ham United could be able to sign Armando Broja – described as “a really, really exciting talent” by former Manchester United defender and Sky Sports pundit Gary Neville on Sky Sports Premier League in February 2022 – from Chelsea in the summer transfer window.

Broja is only 20, and we do not think that he would be able to play regularly upfront for Chelsea next season.

After all, the Blues will be aiming to win the Premier League and the UEFA Champions League next season, and head coach Thomas Tuchel will surely want to use his senior players.

If Broja asks Chelsea to leave, then the former Premier League and UEFA Champions League winners are unlikely to stand in his way and could cash in on him this summer.
