Djed Spence is about to undergo a medical at Hotspur Way ahead of his move to Tottenham Hotspur from Middlesbrough in the summer transfer window, according to Football.London.

Football.London are reporting this morning that Spence is already at The Lodge at Hotspur Way and will undergo a medical at Tottenham either late this morning or early this afternoon.
Premier League outfit Tottenham will reportedly pay Championship club Middlesbrough an initial transfer fee of £12.5 million rising to £20 million with add-ons.
Football.London have reported that Tottenham and Middlesbrough are just finalising the last few points over the transfer of Spence, who can play as a right-back, right wing-back or right-winger and was described as “outstanding” and “absolutely fantastic” by former Chelsea player Andy Townsend on talkSPORT (5:43pm, March 21, 2022).
Exciting signing for Spurs
In our view, Djed Spence would be a very good signing for Tottenham Hotspur in the summer transfer window and would make Antonio Conte’s side better.
We saw last season during his loan spell at Nottingham Forest from Middlesbrough just how good the youngster is.
Now, of course, the Premier League is at an entirely different level to the Championship, but under Conte, Spence will improve and get better in the coming years.
Spence made 41 starts and one substitute appearance in the Championship during his loan spell at Nottingham Forest last season.
The youngster scored two goals and gave four assists in those games.
