Sevilla want to re-sign Sergio Reguilon and could hold talks with Tottenham Hotspur this week ahead of facing each other in a friendly.

Tottenham have jetted off to South Korea for their pre-season tour with Son Heung-min unsurprisingly given an incredible reception.

Yet whilst many Tottenham players are enjoying the love from Korean fans, some were left at home by Antonio Conte.

Left back Reguilon was one of them as he was excluded from the travelling Tottenham squad alongside Tanguy Ndombele, Giovani Lo Celso and Harry Winks.

All five players are expected to leave Tottenham after receiving that news, with Reguilon potentially heading back to Spain.

Sevilla want to re-sign Sergio Reguilon

Estadio Deportivo report that Sevilla would like to re-sign Reguilon, two years since his loan from Real Madrid came to an end.

Sevilla have just allowed Ludwig Augustinsson to join Aston Villa and will now need another left back in his place.

Reguilon is seen as a player who can provide great competition for Marcos Acuna at left back but the finances are a problem.

Sevilla can’t afford to purchase Reguilon and would only be seeking a loan move for the Tottenham man.

Whether Tottenham would accept that remains to be seen but talks between Spurs and Sevilla could take place this week.

Reguilon may not be in South Korea this week but both Tottenham and Sevilla are, and actually face each other in a friendly this weekend.

This may be an ideal chance for officials from both teams to get around a table and talk about a potential deal for Reguilon.

It’s clear that the Spaniard just doesn’t have a future under Antonio Conte; both Ryan Sessegnon and new signing Ivan Perisic are ahead of him in the left wing back pecking order.

Tottenham paid £27million to sign Reguilon in 2020 after shining at Sevilla and a return to Andalusia may now be on the cards.
