Arsenal fancy signing Serge Gnabry but they may now face a battle with Chelsea as both teams face up to missing out on Raphinha.
Chelsea may be on the verge of signing Manchester City attacker Raheem Sterling but they were hoping to have two wide men snapped up.
The Blues made their move for Leeds United star Raphinha earlier this summer in the hope of beating Arsenal to his signature.
Yet fast forward a few weeks and Raphinha finally looks set to sign for Barcelona, as has been rumoured for many months now.
That means both Arsenal and Chelsea are looking for other wingers – and they may be in another transfer fight after all.
Arsenal fancy signing Serge Gnabry, but so do Chelsea
One of the names Arsenal have been considering is Serge Gnabry – the man they sold back in 2016.
The Daily Star have reported that Arsenal are looking towards Bayern Munich ace Gnabry as a potential signing this summer.
Transfer insider Dean Jones has reported that Gnabry is certainly on Arsenal’s wish list in what would be a shock return.
Gnabry, 26, joined Arsenal from Stuttgart in 2011 but failed to make a consistent first-team breakthrough and was sold to Werder Bremen in 2016.
The winger has become a star back in Germany and racked up 17 goals in all competitions last season.

Yet with his contract expiring next summer, Gnabry could end up being sold by Bayern this summer before he leaves for nothing.
Arsenal may be keen but now face a battle with old rivals Chelsea.
The Telegraph claim that Chelsea may turn to Gnabry having missed out on Raphinha, with a belief that he could be available for around £34million this summer.
That’s cheaper than the deal Barcelona are striking for Raphinha and Chelsea’s German boss Thomas Tuchel will be well aware of Gnabry’s quality.
Chelsea have new spending power under Todd Boehly’s reign and beating Arsenal to Gnabry could make for a fascinating move early into this new era at Stamford Bridge.
