Tottenham Hotspur left-back Ryan Sessegnon has wished Jack Clarke the best of luck on Instagram after the winger left Spurs for Sunderland on a permanent contract.

Premier League club Tottenham have announced today that they have reached an agreement with Championship club Sunderland over the permanent transfer of Clarke.

The former Leeds United winger spent the second half of last season on loan at Sunderland from Spurs.

The 21-year-old helped the Black Cats win promotion to the Championship.

Clarke made 11 starts and nine substitute appearances in League One for Sunderland, scoring one goal and providing three assists in the process.

Tottenham paid Leeds United £10 million for Clarke back in July 2019, according to The Athletic.

The youngster endured a tough time at Spurs and was able to make only four appearances for the North London club.

The youngster has posted a short message on Instagram following his move to Sunderland on a permanent basis from Tottenham.

And Sessegnon, who can play as a left-winger and has been playing as a left wing-back under head coach Antonio Conte, is among those who have wished Clarke the best of luck at Sunderland.
