Barcelona have made a final offer to Leeds United for Raphinha, with Mikel Arteta’s Arsenal and Thomas Tuchel’s Chelsea also interested in the winger, according to Sport.

Barcelona make final offer for Arsenal and Chelsea target Raphinha

Sport have reported today that Barcelona have made a final bid of €55 million (£46.52 million) plus add-ons for Leeds winger Raphinha.

The offer is ‘significantly lower’ than the one from Chelsea, but the Brazil international winger prefers a move to Barcelona.

The report has claimed that Leeds plan to make a decision on the future of Raphinha in the next few hours, as they are travelling to Australia for their pre-season tour.

The London Evening Standard reported last night that Arsenal are hopeful that they will still be able to sign the former Rennes star despite the winger himself turning down the Gunners.

Raphinha has also reportedly turned down a move to Tottenham.

Decision soon?

It seems that a decision on the future of Raphinha – described as “an exciting player” and “special” by Leeds United Director of Football Victor Orta on COPE’s Great Match show – will be made soon.

We think that Leeds would be better off making a decision now so that they can focus on preparing for the upcoming years.

Leeds head coach Jesse Marsch needs to have a clear idea of which players he can count up next season.
