Fabrizio Romano has delivered an update on Leeds United’s pursuit of Feyenoord sensation Luis Sinisterra – and it appears a deal has been “completed”. It is the second “here we go” Tweet of the week, after Tyler Adams.
Having already splashed £50million this summer, Leeds sold Kalvin Phillips to Manchester City on Monday in a deal that could reach £45million. But that money will now go almost immediately, on Adams and Sinisterra.
Romano reported that Leeds had agreed a deal to sign USA international Adams from RB Leipzig in a £20million deal – posting his trademark “Here we go” earlier in the week. Adams is said to have flown to Yorkshire this evening.

Now, in the space of a couple of days, Romano has Tweeted “here we go” a second time – this time, for Sinisterra. It comes after a wonderful 2021-22 campaign in which the Colombian produced 37 goal involvements in 49 games.
Romano says a deal worth an initial £21.5million plus add-ons is ready with Feyenoord – a record sale for the Eredivisie club. Personal terms are over the line, as is the entire deal. Only paperwork and documents remain.
‘Here we go’ – Romano: Leeds complete deal for Sinisterra
It is a simply stunning signing for Leeds. A player of real excitement. One with bags of tricks, incredible speed and both creativity and goals. Sinisterra fits the transfer blueprint Leeds have set themselves this summer.
Between the ages of 20 and 25, but with experience. Rasmus Kristensen and Brenden Aaronson are both regular internationals with a huge number of games under their belt. Roca too, mostly from his time at Espanyol.
Adams and Sinisterra are further examples of this. Only just turning 23 in June, he has almost 150 senior club outings to his name. Leeds have reinvested the Phillips cash to replace him, and Raphinha, without actually selling the latter.
