Italian outlet CMW claim Juventus have added Tottenham defender Emerson Royal to their summer shortlist – incredibly, a fourth Spurs player linked with the Old Lady after Lucas Moura, Gio Lo Celso and Sergio Reguilon.
Emerson, 23, has endured a difficult first season in the Premier League with Spurs and Antonio Conte is not convinced. Indeed, the Brazil international is about to find new competition in the form of £15million signing Djed Spence.

At times, Emerson was even overlooked for Matt Doherty before the Ireland man suffered a lengthy injury. In total, the ex-Barcelona man clocked up 41 appearances for Spurs – but he might have already play his last game.
Juventus have previously been linked Reguilon, Moura and Lo Celso and now – they are considering Emerson. Spurs want a fee of £21million for Emerson, as Juventus look for a long-term replacement for Danilo and Juan Cuadrado.
Juventus have added Tottenham defender Emerson Royal to shortlist
What a move it would be for Emerson. His spell at Tottenham has been poor. If he does end up staying, he might find his game time starved. Conte prefers Doherty, and will want to give Spence plenty of opportunities.
Emerson might even become third choice. He really needs to go, if Spurs do get a deal over the line for Spence. A move to Juventus would be excellent. That is, for a player that has really found it difficult over the past 12 months.
He might not be the only Spurs player to swap North London for Juventus – Antonio Conte and Fabio Paratici’s old side. An intriguing few weeks ahead in terms of outgoings, for Spurs.
