Everton want Morgan Gibbs-White and are now expected to make an approach for the Wolverhampton Wanderers midfielder imminently.
The Toffees have their first summer signing on board having secured a deal for Burnley defender James Tarkowski over the weekend.
Frank Lampard will now be looking for more new signings, especially after selling Richarlison to Tottenham for big money last week.
That should give Everton some more room to manoeuvre in the transfer market, possibly bringing some cash signings to Goodison Park.
Everton want Morgan Gibbs-White
One of the names on Everton’s list is now believed to be Wolves talent Morgan Gibbs-White.
Sky Sports report that Everton are now expected to make a move for Gibbs-White with an official offer very soon.
Wolves would want £25million for Gibbs-White but haven’t actually decided whether they want to sell him yet.
Gibbs-White spent last season on loan at Sheffield United, bagging 12 goals and 10 assists in 37 appearances.
The 22-year-old excelled in various roles but mostly impressed playing as an attacking midfielder or even as a striker.
Many would prefer to see Wolves keep Gibbs-White and make him a key part of their squad, but the money on offer could be too appealing.

Everton can offer a potential escape route for Gibbs-White but there is plenty of other interest.
Nottingham Forest are especially keen on signing Gibbs-White with boss Steve Cooper chasing a reunion.
Cooper worked with Gibbs-White in the England setup and with Swansea City, with Gibbs-White potentially attracted by working with him again.
The Sun reported in June that Forest were closing in on signing Gibbs-White but that hasn’t progressed and Everton are now in the race.
Forest will still feel confident given Cooper’s influence but Everton joining the race does complicate things in their pursuit for the player once branded a ‘huge talent’ by Peter Crouch.
