Antonio Conte’s Tottenham Hotspur are not very optimistic of signing Anthony Gordon from Premier League rivals Everton in the summer transfer window, according to The London Evening Standard.
The London Evening Standard have reported that Tottenham are interested in securing the services of Gordon.
However, according to the report, ‘there is little optimism’ that Everton will sell the homegrown winger and ‘risk a supporter backlash’.
Anthony Gordon from Everton to Tottenham Hotspur unlikely
In our opinion, Everton are not going to sell Anthony Gordon to Tottenham Hotspur – or to any other club for that matter – in the summer transfer window.

They simply won’t.
Now, of course, money talks, but we do not think that Spurs or another club are going to offer £40 million or £50 million for the 21-year-old English winger, described as “a player with personality” by former Everton boss and current Real Madrid head coach Carlo Ancelotti on the Toffees’ official website in July 2020.
Everton narrowly avoided relegation from the Premier League at the end of last season, and they have also just sold Brazil international forward Richarlison to Tottenham.
The Merseyside club will surely not want to sell a homegrown player now and make the fans even more frustrated.
