Darko Gyabi has joined Leeds United with the Manchester City talent arriving at Elland Road after Kalvin Phillips moved in the opposite direction.
Manchester City have today confirmed the signing of Phillips after weeks of speculation.
The deal will cost City £42million plus another £3million in add-ons according to The Athletic.
City will certainly see that as good business and they are even able to offset a small portion of the fee by selling Gyabi to Leeds.
There have been rumours linking Romeo Lavia with Leeds but it’s Gyabi who is making the move to Elland Road.

Leeds have now announced the signing of teenage midfielder Gyabi on a four-year deal.
The Athletic report that Gyabi will cost £5million in a deal completely separate from the Phillips move although announced at very similar times.
That report adds that Leeds have been looking into signing Gyabi for 18 months now and love his wide range of attributes.
Gyabi’s physique is hugely impressive at 6ft 3in tall, but his technique, ability with both feet, comfort on the ball, ability to press and versatility in midfield roles have attracted Leeds.

Formerly of Millwall, Gyabi was plucked by City at just 14 and now makes the move to Leeds at 18.
It’s even noted that Jesse Marsch watched Gyabi in action as a substitute for City’s Under-23’s and his display cemented Leeds’ interest.
Marsch’s verdict has been vital in Leeds’ transfer business so far. New signings Brendan Aaronson and Rasmus Kristensen both worked with Marsch at Red Bull Salzburg.
Marsch now has the chance to work closely with Gyabi at Leeds with the aim of developing him into a Premier League star.
An exciting young talent with enormous potential, Gyabi could now end up replacing Phillips at Leeds in the long-term for a mere fraction of the price.
