Thomas Tuchel’s Chelsea are hopeful that they will sign Liverpool target Ousmane Dembele in the summer transfer window, according to 90min.

90min have reported that Chelsea ‘remain hopeful they can still persuade Dembele’ to move to Stamford Bridge on a free transfer this summer despite the France international winger holding talks with Barcelona over a new contract.
Dembele is now officially a free agent after his contract with Barcelona ran out at the end of last month, but the 25-year-old is in talks with the former La Liga and UEFA Champions League winners over a new deal.
Liverpool have also been linked with the former Borussia Dortmund star, whose “pace is frightening in training”, according to comments from former Barcelona star Lionel Messi in GiveMeSport in March 2020.
Sport have reported that Liverpool interested in signing Dembele on a free transfer and have made contact in regard to a summer move.
The report named Chelsea and Paris Saint-Germain as the other clubs keen on Dembele.
Could Stamford Bridge move happen?
In our opinion, Chelsea could be able to sign Ousmane Dembele ahead of Liverpool and Barcelona in the summer transfer window.
Liverpool are well stocked in attack, and although the Reds are reported to be interested in the Frenchman, they are unlikely to get into a bidding war for his signature.
Chelsea are a very wealthy club who now have new owners, and if they make an offer which is better than Barcelona’s, then they could be able to convince Dembele to move to Stamford Bridge this summer.
