Eddie Howe’s Newcastle United are interested in signing former Real Madrid attacking midfielder Isco on a free transfer this summer, according to AS.
AS have reported interest in Isco from Newcastle, AS Roma, Real Betis, Fenerbahce and clubs in the Middle East.
The Spanish publication has added that it is likely that Isco will move to either Newcastle or Roma in the summer transfer window.
Isco would be brilliant for Newcastle United
In our view, Isco would be a brilliant signing for Newcastle United and would make Eddie Howe’s side better.
Yes, the Spain international attacking midfielder has not been at his best for a while now, and there have been injury problems as well.

However, Isco is only 30 at the moment, and he still has a fair few years left in him.
Newcastle’s rich owners, PIF, have grand plans for the future, and Isco would be a big signing for the Premier League club.
The Spaniard is a serial winner who has won the La Liga title three times, the Copa del Rey once, and the UEFA Champions League on five occasions with Madrid.
Former Tottenham Hotspur manager Mauricio Pochettino, called Isco “magic” in October 2017, as quoted in Marca.
Isco’s creativity would make the Magpies better and more entertaining to watch.
