Reported Tottenham Hotspur and Leeds United summer transfer target Sonny Perkins is now available following his departure from West Ham United.

West Ham have announced on their official website that Perkins has “left the club” after rejecting their “offers of a professional contract”.
The Hammers have added that they are “now entitled to receive compensation from any club Perkins decides to join”.
West Ham further expressed their disappointment at Perkins’s representatives, adding that they “strongly believe he was approached to sign for another club which led to him asking to be released from his scholarship” at the London outfit.

The Hammers’ Premier League rivals Tottenham and Leeds have been linked with the 18-year-old English player, who started as a midfielder but has been playing as a centre-forward.
The Athletic reported on June 2, 2022 that Leeds want to sign Perkins for their academy.
The atatcker played regularly for West Ham’s development squad and was named Premier League 2’s Player of the Month for April this season.
The Guardian reported on June 9, 2022 that Tottenham, Leeds and Aston Villa all are keen on securing the services of Perkins.
Promising youngster
Perkins is still only 18 and is not ready to play for the first team at a top Premier League club week in and week out.
However, the attacking player made three appearances for the West Ham first team last season, all upfront.
Perkins also scored 12 goals at Under-23 level.
