Anthony Gordon has reportedly decided that he wants to join Tottenham Hotspur this summer.

Speculation is rife that Spurs are keen on signing him and Everton teammate Richarlison in a double deal.

Accoring to Sky Sports, that’s the situation anyway as Tottenham look to bolster their ranks even further, having signed Ivan Perisic, Fraser Forster and Yves Bissouma already this summer.

Football London has now reported that Gordon would be keen on a transfer to Antonio Conte’s outfit.

However, the report stipulates that the 21-year-old attacker wouldn’t request a transfer to leave Everton, his boyhood club.

In the same report, it was claimed that Tottenham were growing increasingly confident of signing Richarlison.

It has also been claimed that Spurs could use Steven Bergwijn as a makeweight to lower Richarlison’s £50 million valuation, which would be a masterstroke by Fabio Paratici if it materialises.

The Italian is really working wonders in North London this summer and this development that Gordon is keen to join what is a very exciting project is further good news.

At 21, the Finch Farm academy graduate is one of the brightest young English talents around and it’ll be a major statement of intent from Paratici and Conte to get it over the line.
