Tottenham are interested in Bremer and now look set to hold talks with Torino this week over a potential deal for the defender.
Tottenham have secured three signings already this summer; goalkeeper Fraser Forster, wing back Ivan Perisic and midfielder Yves Bissouma.
Fabio Paratici must now look for other additions to Antonio Conte’s squad as Tottenham prepare for the Champions League.
Another centre back appears to be on Antonio Conte’s wish list, though he may have to alter his requirements.
Conte seemingly wanted a left-footed centre back but deals for the likes of Alessandro Bastoni and Josko Gvardiol are difficult.
Tottenham are interested in Bremer
That may mean that Tottenham have to go for a right-footer and one name that keeps coming up is Torino ace Bremer.
Reports from Sport Mediaset last week suggested that Tottenham had increased the pressure on Torino to sell.
That report suggested that Torino were seeking around €35million (£30million) for Bremer this summer.
Italian newspaper La Stampa now offer an update on Bremer’s future with talks now expected to ramp up.
It’s claimed that Torino sporting director Davide Vagnati is heading to London for talks over Bremer this week.
The report claims that Vagnati will be speaking to Tottenham about Bremer, but Chelsea will also have a chance to speak to the Torino man.

That means that whilst Tottenham appear to be favourites for Bremer if he comes to England, Chelsea pose a major threat.
The Blues are likely to spend this summer after Todd Boehly’s takeover finally went through.
£30million shouldn’t be a problem to the Blues if they think Bremer is the right defender for Thomas Tuchel.
Bremer, 25, won Serie A’s defensive MVP award this past season – the same award won by Tottenham star Cristian Romero in 2021.
The pair could end up playing together at Tottenham if Paratici’s talks with Vagnati go well this week, but Chelsea will be lurking.
