Kevin Campbell has claimed that Tottenham and Chelsea fans are ‘upset’ at Arsenal seemingly securing the transfer of Gabriel Jesus from Manchester City, as he told the Highbury Squad.

The former striker added that Jesus ‘never went to them’, but he is going to join Arsenal, with Fabrizio Romano sharing that a £45 million deal for the Manchester City player is ‘100% done’, as he posted on Twitter.

Jesus was tipped to join a number of Premier League clubs this summer, including the likes of Spurs, but he has opted to head towards the Emirates.

Whilst there is no Champions League football, there is a familiar face in Mikel Arteta, who he worked under during the Spaniard’s time at the Etihad.

Nonetheless, this is what Campbell had to say about Jesus’ rumoured transfer to Arsenal and how ‘upset’ rival fans are about that.

“You know what I really love about the Jesus (transfer),” said Campbell. “I like the fact that Spurs fans and Chelsea fans are upset.

“He never went to them. He has come to us. That always goes down well. So, I love that part.”

MORE SIGNINGS TO COME?

Well, Jesus might not be the only signing Arsenal beat the likes of Tottenham and Chelsea to this summer.

Another South American star, another Brazil international could be joining Jesus at Arsenal because Raphinha is another name on the club’s transfer wishlist.

After scoring 11 Premier League goals last season for relegation-threatened Leeds, Raphinha has caught the eye of Europe and is seemingly close to leaving.

But where will he end up? Will he stay in the Premier League? If so, the Gunners will fancy their chances again.

However, if it’s abroad, then the obvious destination will be Barcelona, but can the financially-stricken club even afford him? Probably not.
