Alfredo Morelos leaving Rangers might finally happen this summer.

The Colombia international joined Rangers in the summer of 2017 and has regularly been linked with transfers away from Ibrox throughout that entire time, pretty much each time a window opens.

This summer, 90 Min have reported that the Gers are willing to offload the South American hitman, who is out of contract in 2023 and does not seem likely to sign a new extension.

Sevilla have been linked in recent weeks.

And according to Spain-based outlet Estadio Deportivo, Morelos himself ‘would be delighted’ to join the Spanish club.

The 26-year-old missed the last few months of last season for Rangers – including a Europa League final – and you can see why Giovanni van Bronckhorst is seemingly willing to offload him.

With his contract expiring in 12 months, and this injury, and a loss of form even when fit, it’s probably finally time that a departure makes sense for the light Blues too and based on this latest report, it certainly would materialise.
