Premier League giants Manchester United have accepted a £9 million bid from Fulham for Andreas Pereira with the midfielder expected to be unveiled at Craven Cottage ‘in the next few days’, Brazilian journalist Jorge Nicola says on his YouTube channel.
If things go to plan, Fulham should confirm no less than three new signings in the coming days.
But if deals for Shakhtar Donetsk winger Manor Solomon and Sporting Lisbon enforcer Joao Palhinha have been drawn out for far longer than Marco Silva and co would have wanted, then you certainly can’t accuse Fulham of dragging their feet over Pereira.
The former Valencia and Lazio playmaker hadn’t even been linked with with West London outfit until Sunday afternoon.
Fast forward less than 24 hours later and, according to Nicola, the Championship champions have now seen an initial £9 million bid accepted by Manchester United.
Fulham on verge of signing Flamengo loanee Andreas Pereira
Pereira has spent the last 12 months on loan at Flamengo in Brazil. The 26-year-old will bid farewell during the Copa Libertadores clash with Deportes Tolima in midweek.

“Andreas Pereira should say goodbye to Flamengo this Wednesday. His loan contract ends on Thursday,” Nicola says.
The reporter adds that Pereira’s hopes of securing a permanent move to Flamengo collapsed after negotiations with Man United did likewise. The Brazilian giants, Nicola says, attempted to change the terms of the deal – a development United ‘did not like’.
“To make it worse for Flamengo, the Fulham side who have just been promoted to the first division of English football and have a Portuguese coach in Marco Silva made a proposal to buy (Pereira) for £9 million up front and another £2 million linked to bonus.
“United has already accepted this proposal. And the trend is that, in the next few days, Andreas will be announced as a reinforcement (for Fulham).”
Interestingly, Pereira could be replaced at Flamengo by former Bayern Munich, Barcelona and Juventus ace Arturo Vidal.
