Middlesbrough right-back Djed Spence is confident that he will get his move to Antonio Conte’s Tottenham Hotspur in the summer transfer window, according to The Sun.
The Sun have reported that Tottenham and Middlesbrough are unable to reach an agreement over a transfer fee for Spence, who spent last season on loan at Nottingham Forest and helped them win promotion to the Premier League.
Middlesbrough are looking for around £15 million plus add-ons, but Tottenham do not want to pay that much, according to the report.
Talks have been going on for the past few weeks, and, according to The Sun, ‘there is confidence on the player’s side that an agreement will eventually be reached’.
Djed Spence to Tottenham Hotspur happening?
In our opinion, Tottenham Hotspur are likely to sign Djed Spence from Middlesbrough in the summer transfer window.

Boro manager Chris Wilder has admitted that the right-back wants to move to Spurs, and believes that a deal will happen.
Eventually.
There is still a lot of time left in the summer transfer window to get a deal done, and Spence’s desire to move to Tottenham could be key.
Described as “outstanding” and “absolutely fantastic” by former Chelsea player Andy Townsend on talkSPORT (5:43pm, March 21, 2022), Spence would be a good right wing-back for Tottenham and could flourish under head coach Antonio Conte.
