Paulo Dybala does not find Mikel Arteta’s Arsenal appealing any more, according to La Gazzetta dello Sport, with Antonio Conte’s Tottenham Hotspur reportedly interested in him.

Tottenham target Paulo Dybala doesn’t fancy Arsenal transfer

La Gazzetta dello Sport have reported that lack of UEFA Champions League football at Arsenal next season has let Dybala to ignore their interest.

Arsenal have been determined to sign the Argentina international, who can operate as a forward or as an attacking midfielder, and would have given the 28-year-old free agent the kind of deal that he is looking for.

However, the Gunners finishing fifth in the Premier League last season means that Dybala is no longer willing to move to the Emirates Stadium, according to La Gazzetta dello Sport.

Interestingly, Arsenal’s bitter North London rivals Tottenham have also been linked with Dybala, described as “a top player” by his former Juventus teammate Paul Pogba on Twitter on May 16, 2022.

Tuttomercatoweb reported only this week that although Inter Milan are confident of agreeing a contract with Dybala on a free transfer, Tottenham remain keen on the Argentine and are monitoring the development.

Inter to win race?

In our view, former Italian champions Inter Milan are likely to win the race for Arsenal and Tottenham Hotspur-linked Paulo Dybala.

Inter are a major force to be reckoned with in Italy and are also playing regularly in the UEFA Champions League now.
