Speaking on the Talking Transfers Podcast, Graeme Bailey has claimed that Leeds United have had a look at Rangers’ Glen Kamara ahead of this summer transfer window.
The Finnish midfielder has been absolutely brilliant over the past two years for Rangers, and after a stellar Europa League campaign, the midfielder is in high demand.
According to Bailey, there are plenty of Bundesliga and Premier League teams who have had a look at Kamara, and apparently, Leeds are one team that are keen.
What’s been said?
Bailey shared what he knows about Kamara.
“Brighton have an interest in Glen Kamara, he is one of the players who is being considered as a replacement for Yves Bissouma. Kamara who was fabulous for Rangers for Rangers in that Europa League run, and there is now plenty of Bundesliga interest in Kamara,” Bailey said.
“There are other clubs as well. Southampton are sniffing around, Leeds have had a look as well, obviously he’s a former Arsenal starlet as well.”

Phillips replacement
Leeds have had a look at Kamara, and we can’t help but feel that he would be a brilliant replacement for Kalvin Phillips if his reported move to Manchester City comes to fruition.
Indeed, Kamara is certainly in the Phillips mould, he’s an all-action energetic midfielder who has a brilliant eye for a pass, and he could work brilliantly as the Yorkshire Pirlo’s replacement at Elland Road.
This is certainly one to keep an eye on, especially if Phillips ends up leaving Leeds.
