Has Obi-Wan Kenobi been renewed for Season 2?
No, Obi-Wan Kenobi has not been renewed for Season 2 by Disney Plus, nor has it been canceled.
The spin-off show was billed as a miniseries, which usually means the narrative is contained within one season.
However, thanks to the popularity of the show, whispers of a second season have begun circulating, despite writer and producer Joby Harold stating: “I haven’t thought beyond it.”
Despite Season 2 looking uncertain for now, Ewan McGregor told Radio Times that he was keen to return as the iconic Jedi:
“I hope it’s not the last time I play him. I had such a great time doing this, I’m sure we can think of a few more stories before I turn into Alec Guinness, don’t you think?”
