Antonio Conte’s Tottenham Hotspur and Eddie Howe’s Newcastle United have to pay £34 million for Piero Hincapie if they are to sign the defender from Bayer Leverkusen in the summer transfer window, according to The Sun.
The British tabloid has reported that Tottenham head coach Conte is keen on signing Bayer centre-back Hincapie this summer.
TMW reported in May that Newcastle are among the clubs who are interested in securing the services of the 20-year-old Ecuador international.
Should Tottenham or Newcastle pay £34m for Piero Hincapie?
In our view, Tottenham Hotspur and Newcastle United should think carefully before spending £34 million on Bayer Leverkusen central defender Piero Hincapie.
Now, of course, Hincapie is a very talented footballer who has done well for Bayer and is a very promising centre-back.

However, is the Ecuadorian youngster worth £34 million?
Hincapie, who can also play as a left-back, made 20 starts and seven substitute appearances in the Bundesliga for Bayer last season.
The 20-year-old scored one goal and gave two assists in those games.
Hincapie also scored one goal in six Europa League matches for the German club last season.
Tottenham will play in the UEFA Champions League and will aim to finish in the Premier League top four again next season.
