Mikel Arteta’s Arsenal and Antonio Conte’s Tottenham Hotspur have made offers to Leeds United to sign winger Raphinha in the summer transfer window, according to Sport.

Sport have reported that Arsenal, Tottenham and Chelsea all have come forward with offers both for Leeds and for their Brazil international winger Raphinha.

However, according to the report, the Leeds star’s agent, Deco, wants him to move to Barcelona, who cannot match the offers on the table from the Premier League clubs.

Deco is a former Barcelona player, and he wants Raphinha to move to Camp Nou this summer.

For now, Leeds are waiting for an offer from Barcelona that matches their €65 million (£55.90 million) valuation of the 25-year-old, according to the report.

Could Arsenal or Tottenham sign Leeds winger Raphinha?

In our view, Arsenal and Tottenham Hotspur could struggle to sign Raphinha from Leeds United in the summer transfer window.

If Raphinha and his agent Deco are intent on a move to Barcelona and the La Liga club themselves are determined to sign him, then a transfer is likely to happen.

Yes, Barcelona have financial problems at the moment, but if they are able to sell players, then they could come up with the funds needed to secure the services of the £63,000-a-week (SalarySport) winger.
