Eddie Howe’s Newcastle United are considering a bid for Leeds United target and Burnley central defender Nathan Collins, according to The Mirror (print edition, page 73, June 19, 2022).
Newcastle, Leeds, Aston Villa and Wolverhampton Wanderers want Nathan Collins
Newcastle, Leeds, Aston Villa and Wolverhampton Wanderers all are keen on signing Collins from Burnley in the summer transfer window, according to the report.
The report has added that Newcastle, Leeds, Villa and Wolves all are considering moves for the 21-year-old Republic of Ireland international centre-back.
Burnley have been relegated to the Championship and are willing to sell Collins for £25 million, according to The Mirror (print edition, page 73, June 19, 2022).
Exit likely
In our view, it is very likely that Nathan Collins will leave Burnley in the summer transfer window.
Leeds, Newcastle, Villa and Wolves all are big clubs in the Premier League, and there is no guarantee that Burnley will win promotion back to the English top flight.

Collins made 18 starts and one substitute appearance in the Premier League for Burnley last season.
The Republic of Ireland international centre-back scored two goals in those games.
The youngster made 19 starts and three substitute appearances in the Championship for Stoke City in 2020-21, scoring two goals and providing one assist in the process.
