TeamTalk claim Victor Orta is considering a move to lure Wolves winger Adama Traore to Leeds for a second time this summer – having failed to do so in January. Traore moved to Barcelona on loan in January.

However, Barcelona have decided not to sign him permanently. It leaves the 26-year-old in limbo, with 12 months remaining on his Wolves contract. Leeds have been strongly linked for some time.

Orta knows Spain international Traore well. He signed the winger from Aston Villa during his time at Middlesbrough. Now, he could form a reunion with the powerhouse attacker, who failed to score for Barcelona in 17 games.

TeamTalk say that Leeds are weighing up a second move for the Spaniard having failed to beat Barcelona in January. It is believed a fee might not even have to reach £20million in order to tempt Wolves into a sale.

Will Orta finally get his man? It must be said, that if he is finally going to do it – this summer seems the most likely. A much-more affordable price than in the past, and the likes of Barcelona are not in the race.

His contract makes him incredibly cheap at less than £20million. So, if Leeds ever stood any chance in signing the winger – a “phenomenon” according to ex-teammate Carles Gil – then this summer is their best opportunity.

90Min do report that Newcastle and Spurs have shown interest, though, and a move to those clubs might prove tempting. Tottenham do not need him as much having signed Dejan Kulusevski, but Newcastle do.
