Speaking on talkSPORT, Laurence Bassini has named Kido Taylor-Hart as one player he’ll try to sign at Birmingham City should his takeover bid be successful.
The 52-year-old is reportedly in talks to purchase the Championship club after months of fan unrest calling for the removal of the BSHL ownership group.
Bassini was very open about the reported £35m takeover when speaking on talkSPORT, and he even named one transfer target.
What’s been said?
Bassini spoke about his plans for Birmingham.
“It’s not a case of that, I’ve got builders that have gone in today to look at the lower tiers and at the changing rooms at the training ground which are a state. I’m also going to look to go back to category one (academy), and I’m also looking at a player Kido Taylor-Hart who is at Arsenal,” Bassini said.

Good start
If Bassini can sign Taylor-Hart then he will be making a good start at Birmingham.
The highly-rated Arsenal youngster could be an absolute star in the Championship, and this would be something of a coup for the Blues.
The winger has proven his ability for a number of years at youth level for Arsenal, and now, it looks like he could soon get his chance to show his ability for a senior side at St Andrews.
Of course, this hinges on Bassini’s takeover going through and Arsenal letting the winger go, but if the winger ends up at Birmingham, they will be getting a promising young talent through the door.
