Manchester City want David Raum and have now enquired about signing the Hoffenheim star amid interest from Liverpool.
City clinched the Premier League title with a dramatic final-day victory over Aston Villa, breaking Liverpool hearts.
Pep Guardiola’s men won’t be resting on their laurels though and will have to improve again to stay ahead of Liverpool.
Erling Haaland and Julian Alvarez are coming in this summer but City also appear to be keen on a left back and a holding midfielder.
Leeds United ace Kalvin Phillips is a top target for the latter, but the left back could end up coming from Germany.
Manchester City want David Raum
90Min report that City fancy signing Hoffenheim star Raum this summer.
There have been strong links to Brighton and Hove Albion star Marc Cucurella but City need backup targets in mind.
Contact has now been made over the availability of Raum after a dream first season at Hoffenheim.
The 24-year-old joined from Greuther Furth last summer and immediately became a Bundesliga sensation.
Raum was an outstanding attacking threat down the left flank, racking up three goals and a ridiculous 13 assists.
Quick, aggressive, composed on the ball and a superb crosser, Raum has now become a German international.

It’s no surprise that City are now looking towards Raum as a possible signing as they chase a naturally left-footed left back this summer.
Hoffenheim want to sign City defender Ko Itakura so there is real potential for a part-exchange deal involving the Japanese star.
City’s interest comes just weeks after Liverpool were linked with a move for Raum.
Sport Bild in Germany reported that Liverpool had Raum on their radar if they moved for a left back this summer.
Andrew Robertson isn’t going anywhere but there may have been concerns that Kostas Tsimikas would push for a move to become a first-choice player with another club.
That doesn’t look likely though, meaning Liverpool are unlikely to go for Raum – and that could pave the way for City to swoop in.
