Fabrizio Romano has told CaughtOffside that Antonio Conte’s Tottenham Hotspur have held talks with the new agents of Everton forward Richarlison, a player Mikel Arteta’s Arsenal also want.
Well-known and well-respected journalist Romano has said that Tottenham as well as other clubs have held talks with the agents of Richarlison.
Everton are willing to sell the Brazil international forward, but the Toffees are looking for €70-75 million (£59.93-£64.21 million) as transfer fee.
90min have reported this month that Arsenal have also been in contact with Everton over signing Richarlison.
Romano told Caughtoffside: “Richarlison is a player that the new agents have talked about with Tottenham, as with other clubs.
“However, the club wants €70-75m as an opening price tag, so far it has not received offers at this level. Tottenham are not the only club interested, but Spurs have a real interest in Richarlison.
“I wouldn’t get carried away by some of the reports surrounding Richarlison and Spurs just yet, but the interest is there and it could be an excellent signing if they can see off competition for his signature.”

Tottenham Hotspur or Arsenal for Richarlison?
In our view, Tottenham Hotspur may have an advantage over Arsenal for Everton forward Richarlison.
Spurs will play in the Champions League next season and also have a world-class manager in Antonio Conte, who is used to winning and will surely want to make the team very competitive in the coming years.
Having said that, we have to note that Tottenham do have a settled attacking unit, and the Brazilian would have to fight for his place in the team.
Arsenal are in desperate need of strikers, and, as things stand, Richarlison would walk into the Gunners’ starting lineup.
However, the Gunners are unlikely to challenge for the Premier League title anytime soon and could struggle to finish in the top four next season.
Richarlison is a regular at Everton, so Arsenal would have to work hard to tempt him to move to the Emirates Stadium.
