Chris Sutton has claimed that Arsenal is a ‘better option’ for Robert Lewandowski than Manchester United, as he told BBC Radio 5 Live Sport.
The Bayern Munich star is dreaming of a move to Barcelona this summer, but Sutton stated if that transfer doesn’t come off then he is better moving to a more ‘stable’ environment at the Emirates than at Old Trafford.
At the age of 33, Lewandowski is regarded as one of the world’s best strikers, alongside the likes of Karim Benzema and Harry Kane.

The Poland international scored an incredible 50 goals from his 46 matches in all competitions last season, including 35 in the Bundesliga and 13 from his ten Champions League games.
But after winning the German title at a canter again, it seems as though he wants to write a new chapter in his career, as Sutton shared his thoughts on the player’s future.
“I have seen that Lewandowski has been linked,” said Sutton. “If he doesn’t go to Barcelona, then he will go to Manchester United.
“But why?! Why would he want to go to Manchester United? There are bigger and better options out there.
“Manchester City, Liverpool, Chelsea and Spurs, at this moment in time and Arsenal are a better option, at this moment in time than Manchester United.
“One club seems to be stable under Arteta, I am not saying Arteta has torn up too many trees, but they are in a better position and they are better placed than Manchester United.”

LEWANDOWSKI NEEDS TO BE PLAYING CHAMPIONS LEAGUE FOOTBALL
A player of Lewandowski’s qualities can be strutting his stuff in the Europa League.
Whilst Arsenal and Manchester United are still giants in the game and they still have that pulling power because of their trophy-laden history.
At the end of the day, someone like Lewandowski isn’t a rising star, but someone who is in the latter stage of his career.
As a result, he can’t afford to be picking up the likes of Arsenal and Man United from the canvas because he needs to be playing at the highest level possible because he only has a few more years left in the tank.
