Rangers legend Charlie Miller has told Glasgow Live that he expects Ibrox duo Ryan Kent and Calvin Bassey to leave this summer – amid interest from Leeds United in Kent, and Aston Villa in Bassey.
Kent, 25, only scored three goals for Rangers last season but the ex-Liverpool star proved incredibly creative. In his 46 games, the English winger laid on an enormous 20 assists for Rangers as they reached the Europa League final.
Reports claim that Kent is aware Leeds and Everton want to sign him this summer. Meanwhile, 22-year-old Bassey is earning rave reviews and Steven Gerrard wants a reunion at Villa Park with the ex-Leicester man.

The Nigeria international is being rated at £25million and Miller thinks an offer between that figure, and £30million, would see Bassey depart. Similarly, he thinks Leeds and Everton target Kent will depart.
“I think Calvin Bassey will be away with a £25 or £30 million bid,” Miller said. “There might be three or four others who could go. Ryan Kent, Joe Aribo, Allan McGregor. It’s a bit of a rebuilding job for Giovanni [van Bronckhorst].”
Miller: Kent and Bassey to leave Rangers amid Leeds and Villa interest
Rangers certainly will have an enormous rebuilding job if they lose the aforementioned quartet. But realistically, they will get the best part of £30million for Bassey. Slightly less for Kent, who is in the final 12 months of his Rangers deal.
But they might still get between £15million and £20million for the winger. For Aribo, perhaps around £15million. That could mean the Gers have £60million to play with this summer, giving van Bronckhorst a war chest.
