AC Milan have reportedly increased their efforts in their bid to sign rumoured Arsenal target Gianluca Scamacca, with the Italian champions willing to offer Sassuolo three players plus cash in exchange for the striker.
According to Gazzetta dello Sport, the Rossoneri are unwilling to let the 23-year-old Italian international slip through their fingers this summer, with interest from Arsenal and PSG hotting up for Scamacca as the striker now looks set to leave Italy in the coming months.

- 3 ways exciting Eredivisie attacker could change Arteta’s Arsenal
The Sassuolo star hit an impressive 16 goals in Serie A last season, and with Scamacca recently taking the mantle of Italy’s starting striker under Roberto Mancini, big things are expected for the attacker in the future, with Milan seemingly desperate to beat Arsenal to his signature.
Reports in recent weeks have indicated that Arsenal’s interest in Scamacca is increasing, with Mikel Arteta’s side losing more and more pace in the race to sign Manchester City attacker Gabriel Jesus, who could now be set to move to Chelsea following recent developments with the transfer saga.
Indeed, Scamacca would be an interesting choice for Arsenal given how desperate the Gunners are to sign a striker this summer, with the Italian having just one real productive season in a top-flight division and the Italian being eyed by many top clubs, including Milan.
As per the report, the Serie A champions are willing to part with three players in order to sign Scamacca, with Lorenzo Colombo, Daniel Maldini and Marco Nasti the most likely names to make the package that will be offered to the Neroverdi in exchange for the attacker.
Milan signing Scamacca won’t be the end of the world for Arsenal

Arsenal need to sign a striker no matter what this summer, and whilst Scamacca would be a good option for the north London side, losing out on the Italian to Milan would not be a disaster for the Gunners, especially given the logistics currently involved in such a deal.
After all, the Gunners need an attacker who has been consistent at a top level for multiple seasons, and whilst Scamacca could be the player in the future, the risk is simply too great for Arteta to take this summer, with Arsenal needing someone who has put up regular numbers.
