Gabriel Jesus should sign for Chelsea this summer, not Arsenal.
That is the view of former Premier League hitman Stan Collymore, who believes that Stamford Bridge is a much smarter move for the player than the Emirates Stadium.
Arsenal boss Mikel Arteta is reportedly annoyed by his club’s indecision in the transfer market and how they’re still no closer to signing the Manchester City marksman than they were last month.
According to Fabrizio Romano, Chelsea have already made contact with the Sky Blues about bringing the Brazilian – valued at potentially £46 million – to West London.
And Collymore, speaking to The Mirror, believes that Gabriel could be the player Romelu Lukaku was supposed to be, arguing he’d have a better supporting cast than at Arsenal.

He said: “At Arsenal, with the support cast they have, which is still two rookies in Emile Smith Rowe and Bukayo Saka — and we don’t know for sure that they will still be wearing Gunners shirts in two years’ time, with Saka being linked with Liverpool and City — if I was Jesus I would be thinking of myself in the blue shirt at Stamford Bridge.
“With that in mind, my advice is, ‘Go to London, Gabriel, but go to the blue side, not the red.”

Well, the Arsenal manager is right to be worried.
It’s difficult to argue that the Gunners are a more appealing prospect than Chelsea at this moment in time.
That’s because Tuchel can offer Gabriel Champions League football next season, whereas the Spanish coach can only offer him Europa League.
When you’ve just won a Premier League with City, joining a Europa League side seems like quite a major step down.
And for that reason, Cheslea are a genuine threat and Collymore is right, the Blues might be a better option.
